Michael Smith (sports Reporter)
Michael Anthony Smith II (born August 1, 1979) is an American sports journalist, best known for his time as an ESPN commentator and host. He is currently the co-host of the Peacock sports talk show ''Brother From Another''. Career Smith covered the New England Patriots and the NFL from 2001 to 2004 as a reporter for ''The Boston Globe''. He then joined ESPN full-time in September 2004 as a senior writer for ESPN.com and an NFL Insider for SportsCenter and NFL Live. He also offered reporting and commentary on various ESPN and ESPN2 studio shows, as well as for ESPN Radio. Smith was an original correspondent for E:60, which launched in 2007. In 2009, Smith transitioned to anchoring and guest hosting such programs as ''Mike & Mike, First Take, SportsNation, Outside the Lines, NFL Live,'' and ''College Football Live''. First Take (TV Series)
''First Take'' is an American sports talk television show on ESPN. Episodes air daily Monday through Friday, with the live episode airing from 10am ET until noon, with reruns from noon to 2pm ET on ESPN2 and from 2 to 4pm ET on ESPNews. The show broadcast from Studio E at ESPN's headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut for its first eleven years, before the show moved to the network's new South Street Seaport facility on Pier 17 in September 2018 after Labor Day. It also has "roadshow" broadcasts for events such as the weeks of the College Football Playoff, the Super Bowl and the NBA Finals from the cities where those events take place. ''Thursday Night Football'' (often abbreviated as ''TNF'') is the branding used for broadcasts of National Football League (NFL) games that broadcast primarily on Thursday nights. Michael Holley
Michael S. Holley (born February 26, 1970) is an American television and radio sports commentator, sports reporter and author. He formerly wrote columns for the ''Boston Globe'', ''Chicago Tribune'', ''The Plain Dealer'', and '' Akron Beacon Journal''. Career While working for the ''Akron Beacon Journal'' in 1993, Holley was one of several reporters who worked on a project studying race relations in Northeastern Ohio. The series, entitled "A Question of Color," won the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for Meritorious Public Service. ''SC6'', also known as ''The Six'', was a rebranded hour of the ESPN program ''SportsCenter''. The program aired weekdays at 6:00 p.m. ET and was hosted by former '' His & Hers'' duo Michael Smith and Jemele Hill.
