Michael 'Mike' Thomas Reed (born 10 September 1988) is an English cricketer who is currently without a club. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium pace. He was born in Leicester, Leicestershire. Reed was educated at the De Lisle School, before attending Cardiff University to study Maths, where he played cricket for Cardiff MCCU. He also played minor counties cricket for Wales Minor Counties while he was studying, making his debut for the team against Shropshire in the 2009 Minor Counties Championship. He made four further Minor Counties Championship appearances for the team, the last of which came against Wiltshire in 2010. He also came to Glamorgan's attention while studying at Cardiff University, with the county signing him on a development contract for 2012. Michael Reed (born October 28, 1987, in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American soccer player. Career Reed played his college soccer with the University of New Mexico between 2006 and 2010, before signing his first professional contract with Minnesota Stars FC at the beginning of their 2012 NASL season. At the end of February 2015, Reed signed with NASL club Atlanta Silverbacks in order to help fill out their squad before the 2015 season. On 10 January 2018, Reed became Nashville SC's first-ever transfer signing when they purchased his contract from San Antonio FC, where he had been the team captain. Reed was named captain for Nashville SC's first ever match, a friendly against Atlanta United on February 10, 2018. Michael Jerome Reed (born August 16, 1972) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the special teams coordinator and cornerbacks coach at Clemson University. He previously served as an assistant coach at North Carolina State University, Philadelphia Eagles, University of Richmond and Kiel Baltic Hurricanes. Playing career Reed played college football at Boston College for four seasons. Reed was drafted in the seventh round of the 1995 NFL Draft as the final pick of the expansion Carolina Panthers making him Mr. Irrelevant. Michael Benton Reed (born November 18, 1992) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, and San Francisco Giants. High school Reed was born in Maplewood, Minnesota. Michael Delonte Reed (born January 12, 1993) is an American professional boxer. Amateur career Reed won the 2005 National Silver Gloves Championship, the 2009 U.S. Junior National Championship, and the 2011 National Golden Gloves Championship. He finished second at the 2010 U.S. National Championships, third at the 2010 National PAL Championships, and fourth at the 2011 U.S. National Championships. Michael Anthony Reed (2 June 1945 – 24 November 2020) was an Australian politician. Career He was the Country Liberal Party member for Katherine in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 1987 to 2003. Mike Reed (born May 26, 1974) is an American jazz drummer, bandleader, composer and music presenter. Career Reed was born in Bielefeld, Germany, in 1974, but raised in Evanston, Illinois north of Chicago. He returned to Chicago in the 1990s after majoring in English and psychology at the University of Dayton in Ohio. He played with David Boykin Expanse, Rob Mazurek's Exploding Star Orchestra, and the Josh Berman Quartet. He leads the quintet Loose Assembly and the quartet People, Places & Things, with whom he recorded several albums on the 482 Music label. In 2000 he and cornetist Josh Berman started the Sunday Transmission music series at the Hungry Brain bar in Chicago in 2000.
