Michael Prescott (born 1960, as Douglas Child Borton, Jr. ) is a contemporary American, ''New York Times'' bestselling writer of crime fiction. Early life Douglas Child Borton, Jr. was born to Doris Ann (née Kleen) Borton and Douglas Child Borton, Sr., and grew up in New Jersey. He graduated from Wesleyan University in 1980, where he majored in Film Studies Film studies is an academic discipline that deals with various theoretical, historical, and critical approaches to cinema as an art form and a medium. Film studies is an academic discipline that deals with various theoretical, historical, and critical approaches to cinema as an art form and a medium.
