Michael Plooy (born 16 June 1984) is a professional Dutch darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation events. He tried to earn a PDC Tour Card in 2017, but didn't earn enough points to qualify. Damwâld
Damwâld (Dutch: Damwoude) is a village in the Dantumadiel municipality of Friesland, in the Netherlands. In 2020 it had 5630 citizens. This number of citizens makes Damwâld the largest village in the municipality of Dantumadiel. History The present day village of Damwâld is a merged place of three older villages, merged in 1971. The three villages were; Dantumawoude ''(Dantumawâld)'', Akkerwoude ''(Ikkerwâld)'' and Murmerwoude ''(Moarrewâld)''. But it was in the 19th century that the villages started really growing together already. From the second half of that century the buildings strongly densified and in 1880 along the Murmerlaan (later named the Haadwei) the first tram track of Friesland was opened, a horse track. The municipality decided to move the town hall to Murmerwoude. Up until 1881 this was located in the village of Rinsumageast. AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm Young, Malcolm and Angus Young. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. The PDC developed and holds several championship competitions, including the annual PDC World Darts Championship, the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, UK Open, Premier League, and Grand Slam. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, ten in 2016, twelve in 2017, thirteen in both 2018 and 2019, and thirteen once more in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic), and only two events took place in 2021, with a return to thirteen events in 2022. These events see the top players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from six different regional qualifiers. Currently the prize fund for each tournament is £140,000, with £25,000 going to the winner.
