Michael Pavone
Michael "Mike" Pavone is an American film director, screenwriter, television producer/writer and former executive vice president of WWE Studios with WWE before his departure from the company in August 2011. Career Film and television career In 1992, Pavone was a writer for the television series ''Renegade''. In 1993, he was a writer for the television series '' Against the Grain''. He adapted a play for television in 1993 for '' Trouble Shooters: Trapped Beneath the Earth''. In 1994, he was a writer for the unsold television pilot ''Golden Gate''. Pavone directed and wrote the film ''Chameleon'' in 1995 and in that same year he was a writer for the television series ''Medicine Ball''. He was also a writer for the television series '' The Monroes'' and ''The Client'' in 1995. In 2002 Pavone was a writer for the television series '' Street Time''. WWE Studios Inc. (formerly known as WWE Films) is an American film studio owned by the professional wrestling promotion WWE. WWE Studios movies frequently mix well-known actors and actresses in lead roles with WWE wrestlers, and teams with existing production and distribution companies to deliver the product at a cheaper cost for both parties. The ''Wrestling Observer Newsletter'' (''WON'') is a newsletter that covers professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. Founded in print in 1982 by Dave Meltzer, the ''Wrestling Observer'' website merged with Bryan Alvarez's ''Figure Four Weekly'' website in 2008, becoming ''Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online''.
