Michael Neill
Michael Neill (born 4 July 1994) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Sutherland Sharks in the NPL NSW. Neill was born in Sydney and played youth football with Sutherland Sharks and Central Coast Mariners Youth before making his professional debut with the Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets in the A-League. Early life Neill was born in Sydney. Club career Youth Neill played in the youth systems of English club Portsmouth and Sutherland Sharks before joining the Central Coast Mariners team in the National Youth League. Central Coast Mariners After joining the Mariners youth team for the 2012–13 National Youth League, Neill's performances earned him a two-year contract with the senior side. Palm Beach Soccer Club is an Australian amateur soccer club based in Gold Coast, Queensland. The club was formed in 1966. History Palm Beach In 1964 Eddie Wardell organised a group of boys, one of which was his son, to play football out of Palm Beach and compete in a three team football competition against Kingscliff and Twin Towns. The first game for Palm Beach was held at Salk Oval and the team members wore plain green T-shirts but the team would later move to a council paddock also located in Palm Beach. By 1965 the local Gold Coast Association football competition wanted a presence in Palm Beach and invited the team to join the local junior competitions. The 2017 National Premier Leagues was the fifth season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. The league competition was played amongst eight separate divisions, divided by FFA state and territory member federations. The 2019–20 A-League, also known as the 2019–20 Hyundai A-League for sponsorship reasons, was the 43rd season of national level soccer in Australia, and the 15th since the establishment of the A-League in 2004.
