Michael Moreci
Michael Moreci is a comic author and novelist writing in the science fiction and horror genres. Notable original works include critically acclaimed military horror comic series ''Burning Fields'' and space comic series ''Roche Limit'', which was included in Paste (magazine), Paste's "Required Reading: 50 of the Best Sci-Fi Comics". Moreci has written two Star Wars-inspired space opera novels - ''Black Star Renegades'' and ''We Are Mayhem''. Moreci has written canonical material for a number of franchises including Star Wars, Stranger Things and the DC Universe. In 2019 he wrote a graphic novel adaptation of Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl in promotion of Disney's Artemis Fowl (film), 2020 film adaptation. Personal life Morechi was born and grew up in Chicago. Fantasy comedy or comic fantasy is a subgenre of fantasy that is primarily humorous in intent and tone. Typically set in imaginary worlds, fantasy comedy often involves puns on and parodies of other works of fantasy. Literature The subgenre rose in the nineteenth century. Eoin Colfer
Eoin Colfer (; born 14 May 1965) is an Irish author of children's books. He worked as a primary school teacher before he became a full-time writer. He is best known for being the author of the Artemis Fowl (series), ''Artemis Fowl'' series. In September 2008, Colfer was commissioned to write the sixth instalment of the ''Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'' series, titled ''And Another Thing... Kurt Vonnegut Jr. (November 11, 1922 – April 11, 2007) was an American writer known for his satirical and darkly humorous novels. In a career spanning over 50 years, he published fourteen novels, three short-story collections, five plays, and five nonfiction works; further collections have been published after his death. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Vonnegut attended Cornell University but withdrew in January 1943 and enlisted in the US Army. As part of his training, he studied mechanical engineering at the Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University) and the University of Tennessee. He was then deployed to Europe to fight in World War II and was captured by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge.
