Michael McNiven
Michael McNiven (born July 9, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in the ECHL. He has previously played with the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League (NHL). Early life McNiven was born on July 9, 1997, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His parents were unable to take care of him, and he was raised by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Christine McNiven. Although he had limited contact with his mother, McNiven's relationship with his father improved throughout his adolescence. He spent the 2012–13 minor ice hockey season as a goaltender for the Halton Hurricanes of the South-Central Triple A Hockey League, where he posted an 11–9 record and 1.48 goals against average (GAA). Cayden Primeau
Cayden Primeau (born August 11, 1999) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing for the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He helped Northeastern win their third Hockey East Tournament in 2019 and received the Mike Richter Award as the National Goaltender of the Year the same season. Playing career Primeau was stellar during his brief college career. In his freshman season, he won 19 games and helped Northeastern jump from eighth to second in Hockey East. Jim Rutherford Trophy
The Jim Rutherford Trophy is given to the best goaltender in the Ontario Hockey League, as voted by coaches and general managers. The winner is also nominated for the CHL Goaltender of the Year award. From 1988 until 2019, the award was named the Ontario Hockey League Goaltender of the Year Award. On May 19, 2020, the OHL unveiled the Jim Rutherford Trophy, in honour of former goaltender Jim Rutherford. Jordan Binnington
Jordan Binnington (born July 11, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Binnington was raised in Richmond Hill and Toronto. He was drafted by the Blues in the third round, 88th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He spent seven seasons in the minor leagues, with a brief call-up to the NHL in 2014 as an emergency goaltender. Binnington played for Canada in the 2013 IIHF World U20 Championship. In December 2018, he was called up by the Blues and within a month became their starting goaltender.
