Michael McCann, also known as "Behavior", is a Canadian composer for television, video games, and film. He is best known for composing the scores to the video games '' Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent'', '' Deus Ex: Human Revolution'', '' XCOM: Enemy Unknown'', '' Deus Ex: Mankind Divided'' and ''Borderlands 3''. McCann's music incorporates elements of electronic, orchestral and traditional acoustic instruments, and often includes the use of world, choral, and solo vocals (primarily female, and primarily lyric-less). His scoring work, as well as solo and production work, bridges multiple genres including ambient, world, jazz, break-beat, post-rock, trip-hop, drum and bass, industrial, rock and pop. Michael McCann (field Hockey)
Michael McCann OAM (born 26 September 1977) is a field hockey striker from Sydney, Australia, who won the gold medal with the Australia national field hockey team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He was included in the national squad for the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2001 after an impressive national league season netted him the top goal scorer's award. He retired from international hockey in 2007 after playing 165 games and scoring 72 goals. His nickname in the younger days was "10 cents". This came about because every time he scored a goal his aunty would give him 10 cents as a reward. After at least 3 games of hockey on a weekend, the rewards were massive. Michael McCann (politician)
Michael McCann (born 2 January 1964) is a British Labour Party politician who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow 2010–2015. He was formerly a councillor in South Lanarkshire, serving on the planning and estates committees. Political career McCann was elected as a councillor in South Lanarkshire in 2003 and 2007. He was elected to the UK Parliament in 2010 as the MP for the East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow seat, succeeding Adam Ingram. McCann was chairman of the Scottish Parliamentary Labour Party. He served on the International Development Committee in the 2010–2015 Parliament and is a member of Labour Friends of Israel. McCann is known to be a fierce critic of the Scottish National Party, and ruled out any formal post-election deal with them in March 2015.
