Michael Lee (born Michael Gary Pearson; 19 November 1969 – 24 November 2008) was an English drummer best known for touring and recording in the 1990s with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. Biography Born in Darlington, Lee started his professional career as drummer with Little Angels, a band from Scarborough who became one of the primary British rock acts of the early 1990s. Lee was replaced in Little Angels during their ''Young Gods'' tour by Mark Richardson, after it was discovered he had auditioned for the Cult behind their backs. He went on to play the full ''Ceremony'' world tour with the Cult in 1991 and 1992. After playing with the Cult, he would go on to work with Echo & the Bunnymen and the reformed version of Thin Lizzy. Lee also worked with many other bands including Holosade (with whom he received his first album recording credit as "Damian Lee"), Alaska, and Sweet Janes. Michael Lee is a fictional character on the HBO drama ''The Wire'', played by Tristan Wilds. He is a middle school pupil and a friend of Namond Brice, Randy Wagstaff, and Duquan "Dukie" Weems. More soft-spoken and composed than his friends, Michael takes on a leadership role among his peers. Michael is very protective of his younger half-brother Bug, to whom he is effectively a parent, and Dukie, who is often ridiculed by his peers for his poverty and poor hygiene. Michael Bryan Joshua Lee (born 1965) is an Australian jurist and former barrister who has served as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia since 27 March 2017, in the Sydney Registry of the Court. He is a National Coordinating Judge in both the Commercial and Corporations National Practice Area and the Defamation sub-area in the Other Federal Jurisdiction National Practice Area. Arthur Michael Lee DSC QC (22 August 1913 – 14 January 1983) was an English barrister and judge who had a brief career as a first-class cricketer. He was known as Michael Lee in his legal life. Lee was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox spin. He made his first-class debut for Hampshire in 1933 against Somerset. This was his only appearance for Hampshire. In the 1934 season Lee made his debut for Oxford University against Free Foresters. He played for the university in two further first-class matches, one against a Minor Counties side in 1934 and a final match against Yorkshire in 1935. Lee was educated at Winchester College and Brasenose College, Oxford. Michael Lee (born April 25, 1996) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for HC Nové Zámky of the Slovak Extraliga. He was an All-American for Sacred Heart. Playing career After attending Hamden High school and the Gunnery Prep school, Lee finished High School in Penticton British Columbia while joining the Penticton Vees and helping the club win both the league championship and the Western Canada Cup in 2015. Michael Lee (born October 5, 1990) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who most notably split time between the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL as a prospect in the National Hockey League's Arizona Coyotes system. He was drafted in the third round (91st overall) by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Lee was born in Fargo, North Dakota, but grew up in Roseau, Minnesota. Michael "Mike" Lee (born June 11, 1983) is an American professional rodeo cowboy who specializes in bull riding. He was the 2004 Professional Bull Riders (PBR) PBR World Champion. He competed consistently in said organization from 2001 through 2017. However, he announced his retirement from the PBR in November 2017.
