Michael Kerrigan (novelist)
Michael Kerrigan (2 November 1952 – 7 August 2014) was a British television director noted for directing ''The Famous Five'' TV series and the children's show ''No. 73''. He also directed the ''Doctor Who'' serial ''Battlefield'' in 1989. In 2008 he returned to the ''Doctor Who'' universe to direct four episodes of the spin-off series ''The Sarah Jane Adventures''. Kerrigan spent several years on the staff of the ITV network's south of England franchise-holder TVS, and his first credit was as a "Programme Associate" on the first edition of ''No. 73'' to be made at the company's Maidstone studios. ''Mr Majeika'' is the title of a series of children's books, written by Humphrey Carpenter and published between 1984 and 2006. It was adapted into a children's television series of the same title and produced for the ITV network by TVS. The show aired between 1988 and 1990 and starred Stanley Baxter as Mr Majeika. The stories have also been broadcast on radio. Captain Mack is a British children's television show set in the town of Sunshine City. It was created and developed by John Lomas Bullivant, at ''Fireback Entertainment'', and was first broadcast in February 2008. ''Secrets of the Stars'' is the third serial of the second series of the British science fiction television series ''The Sarah Jane Adventures''. It first aired in two weekly parts on the CBBC channel on 20 and 27 October 2008. Plot The Ancient Lights, entities that existed before the Big Bang and controlled life through astrology, possess their chosen one, the astrologer Martin Trueman, and gives him the ability to channel the power of the stars. Later, Sarah Jane, Luke, Clyde, and Rani are visiting a stage show hosted by Trueman. Trueman gives three dates and forces people born on those dates, including Clyde, to stand up and sit down. ''Verdict'' is a British television legal anthology series, first broadcast on 31 July 1998, that ran for four episodes on ITV. The series, set entirely in the courtroom, features genuine members of the public as the jury, who give their verdict on each of the cases presented before them. The Wild House
''The Wild House'' was a serialised children's programme produced between 1997 and 1999 broadcast by the BBC. The programme was based on an idea of Jean Buchanan's. Later series were written partially by Mark Haddon, author of ''The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time''. It follows the life of Natalie Wild (played by Ellie Beaven) and the other members of the Wild family. Information The Wild House is a reference to the Wilds' surname and also gives an apt description of the family itself.
