Michael Keenan (actor)
Michael Keenan (December 12, 1939 – April 30, 2020) was an American actor and academic. He was best known to television audiences for his portrayal of Mayor Bill Pugen in the CBS television series, ''Picket Fences'', during the 1990s. Keenan, who taught acting and direction at the University of Southern California, also directed dozens of plays and stage productions at the USC School of Dramatic Arts between 1987 until 2015. Biography Keenan was born in Los Angeles on December 12, 1939, but was raised in nearby Pasadena, California. In 1951, he became a choirboy with the San Francisco Opera. He graduated from Loyola High School, a Jesuit-run school in Los Angeles, and received his bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University. Asolo Repertory Theatre
The Asolo Repertory Theatre or Asolo Rep (AKA: Asolo Theatre Company, Inc.) is a professional theater in Sarasota, Florida. The Tiffany Theater was the first theater on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. It stood west of La Cienega between the Playboy Club and Dino's Lodge restaurant. Before being converted from the Mary Webb Davis Modeling School office at 8532 W. In theatre, blocking is the precise staging of actors to facilitate the performance of a play, ballet, film or opera. Historically, the expectations of staging/blocking have changed substantially over time in Western theater. Prior to the movements toward "realism" that occurred in the 19th century, most staging used a "tableau" approach, in which a stage picture was established whenever characters entered or left the stage, ensuring that leading performers were always shown to their best advantage.
