Michael Jeffrey
Michael Richard Jeffrey (born 11 August 1971) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. In a career lasted from 1989 to 2002, Jeffrey notably played in the top flight of English, Dutch and Scottish football with spells in the Premier League with Newcastle United, in the Eredivisie for Fortuna Sittard and in the Scottish Premier League for Kilmarnock. He has also played professionally in the Football League for Bolton Wanderers, Doncaster Rovers, Rotherham United, Grimsby Town and Scunthorpe United. Career Jeffrey began his career with Bolton Wanderers in 1988, although it was a move to Doncaster Rovers in 1992 that kickstarted his career as he scored 19 goals in 42 League appearances. He joined Premier League side Newcastle United in October 1993, but under Kevin Keegan he would only make a total of five appearances in all competitions, with a solitary goal coming in a 1–1 League Cup draw against Manchester City on 30 November 1994. Michael Jeffery (Australian Army Officer)
Major General Philip Michael Jeffery, (12 December 1937 – 18 December 2020) was a senior Australian Army officer and vice-regal representative. He was the 28th governor of Western Australia from 1993 to 2000, and the 24th governor-general of Australia, serving from 2003 to 2008. From Perth, Western Australia, Jeffery graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and served in the Malayan Emergency and the Vietnam War, being awarded the Military Cross during the latter conflict. Jeffery was at various stages commander of the Special Air Service Regiment and the 1st Division, and subsequently Deputy Chief of General Staff, before retiring from active service in 1993. After serving for seven years as Governor of Western Australia, Jeffery was appointed Governor-General of Australia in 2003, following the resignation of Peter Hollingworth. Kevin Keegan
Joseph Kevin Keegan (born 14 February 1951) is an English former footballer and manager. A forward, he played for several professional clubs from 1968 to 1984. Having begun his career at Scunthorpe United, he moved to Liverpool in 1971 and then to Hamburger SV in 1977, enjoying great success at both clubs. During this period, he was a regular member of the England national team. He was twice the winner of the Ballon d'Or. After leaving Hamburg in 1980, he played for Southampton and Newcastle United. Keegan returned to football in 1992 as manager at Newcastle. He later managed Fulham and Manchester City. At all three clubs, the team won promotion as champions in his first full season there.
