Michael Jameson
Michael L. Jameson, Jr (born July 14, 1979) is a former American football cornerback who played three seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns after playing college football for Texas A&M University. College career Jameson played collegiately for the Texas A&M Aggies football team from 1997–2000. During his time with Texas A&M, he played all three positions in the secondary: cornerback, free safety and strong safety. He intercepted seven passes during his career, returning three for a touchdown. He also recorded 190 tackles. In 1999, as a junior, he was named second–team All–Big 12 Conference. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. The cornerback position requires speed, agility, strength, and the ability to make rapid sharp turns. Robert Griffith
Robert Otis "Griff" Griffith (born November 30, 1970) is a former American football strong safety in the National Football League. He played 13 seasons in the league, mostly for the Minnesota Vikings from 1994 to 2001. In gridiron football, a sack occurs when the quarterback (or another offensive player acting as a passer) is tackled behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a forward pass, when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the " pocket" and without clear intent, or when a passer runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage due to defensive pressure. In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squad or practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster. Frequently used in gridiron football, they serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style.
