Michael E. Gerber (born June 20, 1936) is an American author and founder of Michael E. Gerber Companies, a business skills training company based in Carlsbad, California. Early life Michael E. Gerber was born on June 20, 1936, in Elizabeth, NJ. He was the son of Harry Gerber (a furniture salesman) and Helen Gary Gerber Aaron. With his first wife, Diana Duncan, Gerber had two children, Axel & Kim. With his second wife, Susan Arndt, he had his middle child, Hillary. He married his third wife, Ilene (a partner and shareholder in E-Myth Worldwide) in 1985, with whom he had his last two children, Sam and Olivia. Michael Gerber (parodist)
Michael Gerber (born June 14, 1969) is best known as the author of the Barry Trotter series, ''Sunday Times'' best-selling parodies of the Harry Potter books. Before becoming a novelist, Gerber contributed humor to ''The Yale Record'', ''The New Yorker'', ''The Atlantic'', ''The New York Times'', ''The Wall Street Journal'', ''Slate'', NPR and ''Saturday Night Live'', among many other venues. He is an alumnus of Yale and Oak Park River Forest High School. In October 2015, Gerber launched '' The American Bystander'', an all-star print humor quarterly. The magazine was an immediate hit, garnering strongly positive reviews in ''The New York Times'' and ''Newsweek'', which hailed ''Bystander'' as "the last great humor magazine." Michael Gerber (born January 15, 1970 in Oberkirch) is a German Roman Catholic bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of Fulda. Life Gerber studied Catholic theology and philosophy. On 11 May 1997 Gerber was ordained priest in Freiburg im Breisgau. On 12 June 2013 Gerber was appointed as auxiliary bishop of Freiburg im Breisgau.
