Michael Dumontier (born 1974) is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Winnipeg. His work has been exhibited internationally including in New York City, Boston, and Padova, Italy. He is known in particular his minimal paintings and collages. He may be best known for this collaborations with Marcel Dzama, Neil Farber and others as a founding member of The Royal Art Lodge. Marcel Dzama
Marcel Dzama (born May 4, 1974) is a contemporary artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada who currently lives and works in New York City. His work has been exhibited internationally, in particular his ink and watercolor drawings. Education Dzama received his BFA from the University of Manitoba in 1997. Work Dzama works extensively in sculpture, painting, collage, and film. The artist is also known for his intricate dioramas and large scale polyptychs that draw from his talents across a range of media. Dzama works in multiple disciplines to bring his cast of human figures, animals, and imaginary hybrids to life, and has developed an international reputation and following for his art that depicts fanciful, anachronistic worlds. Neil Farber (born 1975) is a Canadian contemporary artist who lives and works in Winnipeg. His work has been exhibited internationally including in London, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf and New York City. He is known in particular his ink and watercolor drawings. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba and was a member, along with Marcel Dzama and others of The Royal Art Lodge.
