Michael De Zoysa
Michael de Zoysa ( si, මෛකල් ඩි සොය්සා) (30 September 1946 – 29 September 2019) was a Sri Lankan cricketer, who served as the administrator of Sri Lanka Cricket and a veteran in the Ceylon Tea industry. He also served as secretary of the Singhalese Sports Club and worked as a chief manager of the Sri Lanka national cricket team. De Zoysa became the manager of the Sri Lankan cricket team in 2013 succeeding Charith Senanayake and served for a two-year term until 2015. Francis De Zoysa
Sir Francis Sreenath de Zoysa Abeysiriwardena, KC (1874–1942) was a Ceylonese lawyer and statesmen. He was a member of the State Council of Ceylon and a president of the Ceylon National Congress. Legal career He was born in the coastal village of Balapitiya, to Demuni Dedrick de Zoysa Abeysiriwardena of Gamakarana Walauwa and Clara Wirasekara from Galhera, Ahungalle. De Zoysa qualified as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Ceylon. He established a successful legal practice and was appointed a King's Counsel. Lucien De Zoysa
Lucien Edward de Zoysa (1917 – 1995) was a Ceylonese cricketer who played first-class cricket between 1947 and 1954. He became a stage actor, playwright, author, and cricket commentator on radio. Early life and education Lucien de Zoysa was one of the 12 children of Sir Francis de Zoysa, a Ceylonese lawyer and statesman. He attended both of Ceylon's two pre-eminent schools: first S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia, and then Royal College, Colombo. In March and April 1936 he took part in the first visit to Australia by any cricket team from Asia when he toured with the Royal College team. Richard Manik de Zoysa (Tamil: இரிச்சர்ட் டி சோய்சா) ( Sinhala:රිචඩ් ද සොයිසා) (18 March 1958 – 18 February 1990) was a well-known Sri Lankan journalist, author, human rights activist and actor, who was abducted and murdered on 18 February 1990. The Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) is a first-class cricket club in Sri Lanka. Singhalese is the most successful club in Sri Lankan domestic cricket, having won the Premier Trophy a record 32 times to 2017.
