Michael Crockett
Michael Crockett (born 16 March 1983 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian former professional rugby league player. His position of choice was on the wing. Early years Crockett started his rugby league career playing for the Nowra Warriors. He was then a junior at the St George Illawarra Dragons club for two years from 2003. In 2005 he moved to Melbourne and joined the Melbourne Storm. He spent one year with the club before moving to Sydney to join the Wests Tigers. Crockett made his first grade debut for the Wests Tigers in round 1 of the 2006 NRL season. He played in eight games for the club that year, scoring seven tries. Warriors The New Zealand Warriors then signed him on a two-year deal and he played 14 games for the club in 2007. He was sent off in round 12 while playing against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for a high shot on Cameron Phelps. Illawarra Cutters
The Illawarra Rugby League Football Club were an Australian rugby league football club based in Illawarra formed in 2012. Originally known as the Illawarra Cutters, they became known as the Illawarra RLFC before the 2017 Intrust Super Premiership NSW. They won their first and only premiership title with the 2016 Intrust Super Premiership NSW, 2016 against Mount Pritchard Mounties at Parramatta Stadium. Illawarra Rugby League
The Illawarra Rugby League is a rugby league competition in Wollongong, NSW. It is one of the oldest rugby league competitions in Australia, founded in 1911 with five clubs (Dapto, Helensburgh, Mount Keira, Unanderra and Wollongong). The area provides a nursery of juniors for the Illawarra Steelers and St George Illawarra Dragons. The season is contested by seven teams and concludes with a finals series involving the top four teams. History Only the Northern parts of the Illawarra have traditionally been included in this competition, with teams further south playing in Group 7. Paul McGregor (rugby League)
Paul McGregor (born 31 December 1967) is an Australian professional rugby league coach who was until August 2020, the head coach of the St. George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL, and a former professional rugby league footballer who played as a in the 1990s and 2000s. McGregor played his club football for the Illawarra Steelers and the St. George Illawarra Dragons at the commencement of their joint venture in 1999. Aidan Kirk
Aidan Kirk (born 16 March 1986) is a professional rugby league footballer who last played in the National Rugby League for the New Zealand Warriors. Early years Educated at St Edward's College in his hometown of Gosford on the Central Coast, Kirk played Jim Beam Cup for The Ourimbah Magies was picked up to play SG Ball and lower grades for the Newcastle Knights. He then joined the Roosters but did not break into first grade due to the dominance of Anthony Minichello. Instead Kirk played in the NSWRL Premier League under coach Ivan Cleary, and was eventually made captain of the side. In 2006 the Roosters signed a feeder arrangement with the Newtown Jets and Kirk played for the Jets in the Premier League.
