Michael Chaput
Michael Chaput (born April 9, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played under contract to Barys Astana of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Chaput was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 3rd round (89th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career As a youth, Chaput played in the 2004 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Deux-Rives. Chaput played four seasons (2008-2012) of junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Lewiston Maineiacs and Shawinigan Cataractes, scoring 77 goals and 110 assists for 187 points, while earning 238 penalty minutes, in 216 games played. Columbus Blue Jackets
The Columbus Blue Jackets (often simply referred to as the Jackets) are a professional ice hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference, and began play as an expansion team in 2000. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (french: Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec; abbreviated ''QMJHL'' in English, ''LHJMQ'' in French) is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League. The league includes teams in the provinces of Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The current president of the QMJHL is Gilles Courteau. Tanner James Kero (born July 24, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey player for the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League (AHL). He has formerly played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars. Playing career Amateur Prior to his collegiate hockey career, Kero played for the Marquette Rangers in the NAHL where he led the league in goals (with 32) and was named the league's "Rookie of the Year". The Utica Comets are a professional ice hockey team based in Utica, New York, with home games at the Adirondack Bank Center. Gregory Moore (born March 26, 1984) is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the current head coach of the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. The 2012 MasterCard Memorial Cup was a four-team, round-robin format ice hockey tournament played from May 18–27, 2012 at the Centre Bionest in Shawinigan, Quebec. It was the 94th Memorial Cup championship and determined the champion of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).
