Michael Catt
Michael Cameron Catt (born December 25) is a producer, author and former Senior Pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church since 1989 until his retirement in 2021. He was an executive producer for the 2008 film, ''Fireproof''. He is an author and has written several books and booklets. He married Terri Catt in 1974, and they have two daughters; Hayley Catt and Erin Bethea, who was in said film. Catt received an undergraduate degree from Mississippi College, a master of divinity degree from Luther Rice Bible Seminary and doctor of ministry degree from Trinity Theological Seminary of South Florida. Pastor
A pastor (abbreviated as "Pr" or "Ptr" , or "Ps" ) is the leader of a Christian congregation who also gives advice and counsel to people from the community or congregation. In Lutheranism, Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy and Anglicanism, pastors are always ordained. In Methodism, pastors may be either licensed or ordained. Erin Bethea
Erin Bethea (born August 12, 1982) is an American actress. She is known for appearing in Sherwood Pictures' films, ''Facing the Giants'' and ''Fireproof''. Sherwood Baptist Church
Sherwood Baptist Church is a Baptist church located in Albany, Georgia. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. History Sherwood Baptist Church began meetings in the US Army Reserve building in 1955, now First Baptist Church Mission. A year later Sherwood got its own of land. Sherwood's first pastor was Albert Cardwell, from 1955 to 1963. During his years as pastor, Dr. Cardwell saw continued growth through an expanded Sunday School and the construction of an educational building that could seat 750 people in 1958.
