Michael Beaumont (South African Politician)
Michael Eric Beaumont (born 12 February 1985) is a South African politician and political strategist. He is the national chairperson of ActionSA, which he helped establish in 2020. Formerly a Democratic Alliance staffer, he was the chief of staff to Herman Mashaba during his term as Mayor of Johannesburg from 2016 to 2019. Early life and education Beaumont was born on 12 February 1985. Born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, he matriculated in 2003 at Michaelhouse. Thereafter he attended Rhodes University in the Eastern Cape, completing a bachelor's degree and Honours in politics and environmental science. Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh
Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh (born 4 January 1989) is a South African author, musician and activist. Mpofu-Walsh was president of the University of Cape Town Students' Representative Council in 2010. He holds a DPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford. In September 2017, Mpofu-Walsh published his debut book, ''Democracy and Delusion: 10 Myths in South African Politics''. John Steenhuisen
John Henry Steenhuisen (born 25 March 1976) is a South African politician who has served as the leader of the Opposition since October 2019 and has been the federal leader of the Democratic Alliance since November 2020, having served as the interim leader for one year from November 2019. The National Assembly is the directly elected house of the Parliament of South Africa, located in Cape Town, Western Cape. It consists of four hundred members who are elected every five years using a party-list proportional representation system where half of the members are elected proportionally from nine provincial lists and the remaining half from national lists so as to restore proportionality. Racial groups in South Africa have a variety of origins.
