Miami University Hamilton
Miami University Hamilton (Miami Hamilton) is a satellite campus of Miami University in Hamilton, Ohio. It was founded in 1968 and is one of three regional campuses of Miami University. History In 1946, Miami University began offering classes in Hamilton and Middletown to meet the needs of people living in those communities who could not attend college. The success of these classes led to the creation of five academic centers in Norwood, Dayton, Piqua and the existing Hamilton and Middletown locations. Steady growth of student enrollment combined with local support for higher education led to the opening of Miami Middletown in 1966 and Miami Hamilton in 1968. The Dayton and Piqua academic centers were replaced by Wright State University; the responsibilities for the Norwood academic center were assumed by the University of Cincinnati. West Chester Township is one of the thirteen townships of Butler County, Ohio, United States, located in the southeastern corner of the county. It is situated between Sharonville and Liberty Township, about north of Cincinnati, and is included in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. Exits 19, 21 and 22 off Interstate 75 serve West Chester. Miami University Dolibois European Center (sometimes called the Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center or simply MUDEC) is an overseas campus of Miami University based in Differdange, Luxembourg. Middletown, Ohio
Middletown is a city located in Butler and Warren counties in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio, about 35 miles (47 km) north of Cincinnati. The population as of the 2020 census was 50,987. It is part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Formerly in Lemon, Turtlecreek, and Franklin townships, Middletown was incorporated by the Ohio General Assembly on February 11, 1833, and became a city in 1886. The city was the home of AK Steel Holding Corporation (formerly Armco), a major steel works founded in 1900.
