"Megamix" (also known as "Miami Hit Mix") is a song by Cuban American singer and songwriter Gloria Estefan. It was released in late 1992 in Europe, the UK and Colombia under the title "Miami Hit Mix", and under the title "Megamix" in Australia, Mexico and the B-Side of "Christmas Through Your Eyes", a holiday song, in the Netherlands. The song was released as a B-Side on Gloria's 1993 " I See Your Smile" in the US and on the 1993 US Maxi Single " Go Away". It peaked at number eight in the UK. Song history The "Megamix", as it was called internationally, also known as the "Miami Hitmix" in the UK, was a medley of the greatest hits by the Miami Sound Machine and Gloria Estefan. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. The show currently airs on Fridays from 2 to 6 PM on Qmusic. The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) is a non-profit association set up in 1999 to promote certain interests of the music industry in Ireland.
