"Mi Religión" (My Religion) is a single by Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Yandel from his fourth studio album '' Update''. It was released on May 5, 2017 under Sony Music Latin as the record's lead single. A music video premiered on May 26, 2017. The song was written by Yandel, Egbert "Haze" Rosa and Jesús Nieves, and was produced by Haze. Composition "Mi Religión" is a reggaeton song composed in common time ( time). Llandel Veguilla Malavé (born; January 14, 1977), known professionally as Yandel, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter and the half member of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. He released his first solo album, ''Quien Contra Mí'', in 2003. His second solo studio album, ''De Líder a Leyenda'', was released in 2013 and was certified Gold (Latin) by the RIAA in 2014. Early life and family Llandel Veguilla Malavé was born on January 14, 1977, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the son of Julio Veguilla and Lucy Malavé. The 55th Annual Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant was held on November 12, 2009 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mayra Matos, who won the title of Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2009, crowned her successor Mariana Vicente as Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010, who then represented Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.
