Bernard Minet
Bernard Minet (born 28 December 1953 in Hénin-Beaumont as ''Bernard Wantier'') is a French singer and actor. He started his career in Pas-de-Calais in 1969 and arrived in Paris in 1970, where he was part of several bands during his studies: "Pop", the "Baloches" and the "Golf Drouot." In 1974, he won first prize in percussion at the Conservatoire de Paris, Conservatoire national de Paris. In 1983, he started a collaboration with Dorothée and joined the band Les Musclés as a drummer. He also pursued a career as a solo artist. He also played in 482 episodes of the ''Salut les Musclés'' and ''La Croisière Foll'Amour'' sitcoms. In the 1980s and early 1990s, he recorded French songs for the Bioman, Turboranger, Winspector, Saint Seiya (Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque) and Sailor Moon (TV series), Sailor Moon Japanese anime series. Elissa Minet Fuchs
Elissa Minet Fuchs (born Elise Minette Levy; March 10, 1919 – February 17, 2023) was an American ballerina and choreographer. Her career started in 1935 on the vaudeville stage and nightclub circuit, leading to gigs as a chorus girl on Broadway. With the fear of rising antisemitism around the world, she changed her name to appear French and conceal her Jewish identity. In 1937, she joined the Ballet Russe de Monte-Carlo and danced with the company for one season. From 1938 to 1950, she danced with the resident ballet company at the Metropolitan Opera, retiring as a soloist. Fuchs founded and directed the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre in Louisiana and worked as the artistic director, ballet mistress, and choreographer at Greensboro Ballet in North Carolina. William Minet (1851–1933) was a British landowner and philanthropist, of Huguenot descent. Minet Country Park is a 36-hectare park on Springfield Road, Hayes in the London Borough of Hillingdon; it is situated between the A312 (Hayes by-pass) and the Uxbridge Road. History Awarded a Green Flag for the first time in 2009, Minet Country Park was opened to the public in 2003. The park was originally part of the Coldharbour Estate, owned by the Minet family from 1766 to the mid-twentieth century.
