Paddington Mhondoro (27 September 1986 – 13 March 2015) was a Zimbabwean cricketer who played a single limited overs cricket, limited overs match for Mid West Rhinos during the 2013–14 season. Born in Gweru, in Zimbabwe's Midlands Province, Mhondoro attended Chipembere Primary School in Highfield, Harare, Highfield, a suburb of Harare, before moving to Chegutu with his parents. A right-handed all-rounder, he featured in the squad for the Zimbabwe Under-19 cricket team, Zimbabwean national under-19 team in 2006, without playing any matches. Gweru
Gweru is a city in central Zimbabwe. Near the geographical centre of the country. It is on the centre of Midlands Province. Originally an area known to the Northern Ndebele people, Ndebele as "The Steep Place" because of the Gweru River's high Bank (geography), banks, in 1894 it became the site of a military outpost established by Leander Starr Jameson. In 1914 it attained Municipality, municipal status, and in 1971 it became a city. The city has a population of 158,200 as of the 2022 census. Gweru is known for farming activities in beef cattle, crop farming, and commercial gardening of crops for the export market. Kwekwe Sports Club
The Kwekwe Sports Club in Kwekwe is the home ground of one of Zimbabwe's four provincial cricket sides, Mid West Rhinos. The cricket ground has been host to several first class and one day matches and has even hosted some internationals – most notably between Zimbabwe and Kenya in 2002. Kwekwe also hosts a variety of touring sides versus Zimbabwe 'A' teams. In 2018 Kwekwe Sports Club formed a theatre section named KKSC Theatre. The theatre has performed three original plays since their inception with its next due in June 2020. Logan Cup
The Logan Cup is the premier domestic first-class cricket competition in Zimbabwe. It is named after James Douglas Logan. History The first recorded cricket match in what was known at the time as Rhodesia was played in August 1890 near Fort Victoria. Within the next ten years, matches were played with more regularity and the most significant match was between teams representing Salisbury and Bulawayo. In 1903, James Douglas Logan presented Rhodesia's cricket teams with a cup to compete for, which was named the Logan Cup after him. Kadoma, Zimbabwe
Kadoma, formerly known as Gatooma, is a town in Zimbabwe. Location The city is located in Kadoma District, Mashonaland West Province, one of the 10 administrative provinces in Zimbabwe. This location lies approximately , by road, southwest of Harare, the national capital and largest city in the country. Tafadzwa Kamungozi (born 8 June 1987) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who bowls leg break. He has been picked in the Zimbabwean squad for the 2006 Champions Trophy without having played any One-day Internationals before, though he did play for a Zimbabwe Board XI in a three-match series against an Australian Academy team which was lost 0–3. Prince Masvaure (born 7 October 1988) is a Zimbabwean first-class cricketer. In July 2016 he was named in Zimbabwe's Test squad for their series against New Zealand. On 28 July 2016 he made his Test debut for Zimbabwe against New Zealand.
