Mezőkövesdi Sport Egyesület () is a professional association football, football club located in Mezőkövesd, Hungary. The team's colors are Yellow (color), yellow and Blue (color), blue. The team name comes from the Zsóry family who founded the thermal baths that brought wealth to the town. History The club was founded in 1975. On 5 June 2016, Mezőkövesdi SE hosted Dunaújváros PASE on the 30th match day in the 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság II season at the newly built Mezőkövesdi Városi Stadion. The match was won by the home team which also resulted the club's promotion to the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I. On 16 July 2016, Mezőkövesd played their first match in the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I season at the Mezőkövesdi Városi Stadion against Gyirmót FC Győr. The match ended with a 2–2 draw. Mezőkövesdi Városi Stadion is a sports stadium in Mezőkövesd, Hungary. The stadium is home to association football side Mezőkövesdi SE. The stadium has a capacity of 4,183. History The Hungarian government decided to support the reconstruction of the stadium by 400 million HUF. These funds covered expenses of the construction of the main stand. The renovated stadium opened on 5 June 2016. On 5 June 2016 the first match was played in the stadium. Mezőkövesdi SE hosted Dunaújváros PASE on the 30th match day in the 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság II season. The match was won by the home team which also resulted the club's promotion to the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I. In the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I season Diósgyőri VTK played some of their home matches due to the demolition of their home stadium Diósgyőri Stadion. Szusza Ferenc Stadion
Szusza Ferenc Stadion (formerly known as Megyeri úti Stadion or simply Megyeri út) is a football stadium in Újpest and the home of Újpest FC. The stadium was designed by Alfréd Hajós and opened on 17 September 1922. The stadium was renovated in 2000–01; its capacity is 12,670. Since 2003 the stadium has been named after Ferenc Szusza (1923–2006), one of the best strikers in Hungarian football history. History After one year of construction the stadium was opened on 17 September 1922, with the match Újpest v Ferencváros 2-1. From June 1925 to June 1929 a bicycle track was running around the ground allowing it to be used as a velodrome. Since the track was occupying some parts of the stands, the capacity was reduced to 15,000 people. A flood in 1945 destroyed the stands but after the renovations in 1946 the Megyeri úti Stadion became the largest stadium in Hungary with a capacity of 45,117 people. Fehérvár FC
Fehérvár Football Club (commonly known as ''Fehérvár'', ''Vidi'', or ''MOL Fehérvár Football Club'' for sponsorship reasons), is a Hungarian professional football club based in Székesfehérvár, which plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság II from 2025–26, the second level of the Hungarian league system after relegation from Nemzeti Bajnokság I in 2024–25. Due to sponsorship reasons, the club changed its name from Videoton FC to MOL Vidi FC in 2018, the main sponsor of the club being oil and gas multinational company MOL. In 2019, the club changed its name once again to MOL Fehérvár FC. Fehérvár has won the Nemzeti Bajnokság I three times, in 2011, 2015, and 2018.
