Meyer Morton, born Myer Isakovitz (November 20, 1889 – February 8, 1948) was an American football player and official and lawyer from Chicago, Illinois. Victor Brian Hobson (born February 3, 1980) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) and an executive producer for Global Entertainment. Curtis Greer (born November 10, 1957) is a former American football player. He played college football as a defensive tackle for the University of Michigan from 1976 to 1979. He was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round (sixth overall pick) of the 1980 NFL Draft. A 6'4", 256 lbs., Greer played seven seasons, principally as a defensive end, in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cardinals between 1980 and 1987. Robert J. Ptacek, Jr. (born April 23, 1937) is a former professional American and Canadian football player. He played college football at the halfback and quarterback positions for the University of Michigan from 1956 to 1958. Herman Everhardus
Herman "Flying Dutchman" Everhardus (September 11, 1912 – July 1980) was an American football player who played halfback for the University of Michigan teams from 1931 to 1933. He was an All-Big Ten halfback who led the conference in scoring in 1933. In his junior and senior seasons at Michigan, he led the team to two consecutive undefeated seasons and national championships. While playing football at Michigan, Everhardus was a teammate and fraternity brother of future U.S. President Gerald Ford. Jim Van Pelt
James Sutton Van Pelt (November 11, 1935 – July 2, 2022) was an American professional football player who was a quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines from 1955 to 1957. Playing in the CFL in 1958 and 1959, he led the Blue Bombers to consecutive Grey Cup championships and set league records with seven touchdown passes in a game, a 107-yard touchdown pass, and 22 points scored in the 1958 Grey Cup championship game. Estel S. "Zit" Tessmer (February 25, 1910 – June 5, 1972) was an American football and basketball player. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Tessmer attended the University of Michigan where he played for the football and basketball teams. He played as a quarterback for the Michigan Wolverines football teams from 1929 to 1931 and 1933. He won the Chicago Alumni Trophy as a freshman in football. He started three games at the quarterback position in 1930 and three more in 1931, but his playing time at quarterback was limited because the 1930 and 1931 Wolverines included College Football Hall of Fame quarterback Harry Newman. John Anderson (American Football)
Roger John Anderson (born February 14, 1956) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons from 1978 to 1989. A native of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Anderson was selected as the Packers' most valuable defensive player three consecutive years. At the end of his career with the Packers, he was the team's all-time leader in tackles and was tied with Ray Nitschke for the Packers' career record in interceptions by a linebacker. Anthonios "Tony" Branoff (January 1, 1934 – December 20, 2012) was an American football player. He played at the halfback position for the University of Michigan from 1952 to 1955. He was chosen as the Most Valuable Player on the 1953 Michigan Wolverines football team. He was the first sophomore to win the award. He also led the Wolverines in rushing in both 1953 and 1955. Tai Lamar Streets (born April 20, 1977) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected with the second pick of the sixth round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He also played for the Detroit Lions in 2004.
