Mexico At The 2020 Summer Olympics
Mexico competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the nation's twenty-fourth appearance at the Summer Olympics. Athletes were given priority for vaccines in March. Note that reserves in fencing, field hockey, football, and handball are not counted: * 162 athletes entries to competition, 1 athlete travel as reserve. Archery Mexican recurve team qualified for the women's team competition by securing one of three remaining spots available at the 2021 Archery Final Olympic Qualification Tournament in Paris, France. Mexican Olympic Committee
The Mexican Olympic Committee () (COM) is the organization that represents Mexico, Mexican athletes in the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Pan American Games and the Central American and Caribbean Games. It was created and formally recognized by the IOC in 1923. The organization is currently directed by María José Alcalá. The Mexican Olympic Committee is headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico. Ernesto Alexis Vega Rojas (born 25 November 1997) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a winger for Liga MX club Guadalajara and the Mexico national team.
