Federal Highway 35 ( es, Carretera Federal 35, Fed. 35) is a free part of the federal highways corridors ( es, los corredores carreteros federales) of Mexico, that is in two separate improved segments. Fed. 35 in Jalisco connects Santa Rosa, Jalisco (near Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos, Jalisco), to La Barca, Jalisco. The length of this segment of the highway is 79 km (49.1 mi). Fed. 35 in Nuevo León connects China, Nuevo León to Montemorelos, Nuevo León. The length of this segment of the highway is 93 km (57.8 mi). Secretaría De Comunicaciones Y Transportes
The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (''Secretaría de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes'', SICT) of Mexico is the national federal entity that regulates commercial road traffic and broadcasting. Its headquarters are in the Torre Libertad on Reforma in Mexico City but some aspects of the department still function at the old headquarters located at the intersection of Eje Central and Eje 4 Sur (Xola). The building is decorated with murals created by arranging small colored stones on the building's outer walls. Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos is a town and municipality, in Jalisco in central-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 184.25 km². It is located north of the Chapala municipality. In 2005, the municipality had a total population of 23,420. Montemorelos
Montemorelos is a city and surrounding municipality of 60,829 inhabitants located in the Northern Mexican state of Nuevo León, in the valley of the Pilon River. It was named after José María Morelos. History In 1637, Governor Martín de Zavala promised a large tract of land in central Nuevo León to Captain Alonso de León on condition that, in less than a year, a colonial settlement is built and populated inside its borders. De León distributed the estate to his children and one of them, Alonso de León González ("The younger"), established his property in the northern banks of the Pilón River, organized an outpost and dedicated it to Our Lady of Regla, a black Madonna venerated by Catholics in Chipiona, Cádiz.
