Meu Pé De Laranja Lima
''My Sweet Orange Tree'' ( pt, Meu Pé de Laranja Lima) is a novel by José Mauro de Vasconcelos. The book was first published in 1968 and was used for literature classes for elementary schools in Brazil. It has also been translated and published in the US and Europe. The novel is part of a tetralogy written by Vasconcelos and centered on different stages in the life of the protagonist, Zeze, and, by extension, Vasconcelos. The four books were published in a disorganized order, following an aleatory chronology instead of a direct one. The direct continuation of the story, ''Doidão'', was actually published in 1963, five years before ''My Sweet Orange Tree'', and follows the life of Zeze during his adolescence. José Mauro De Vasconcelos
José Mauro de Vasconcelos (February 26, 1920 – July 24, 1984) was a Brazilian writer. Biography José Mauro was born in Rio de Janeiro on February 26, 1920. His family was very poor, and when he was still very young, he migrated to Natal where relatives took care of him. Entering the Medical faculty, Mauro abandoned the course of studies in his second year and returned to Rio de Janeiro. There he worked as a boxing instructor and even as a painter's model. Mauro initiated his literature with the novel ''Banana Brava''. His greatest success was his novel My Sweet Orange Tree (''Meu Pé de Laranja Lima'') that tells about his own personal experiences and the shocks he suffered in his childhood with the abrupt changes of life. Zlín Film Festival, also known as the International Film Festival for Children and Youth ( cs, Mezinárodní festival filmů pro děti a mládež) is an annual festival of children's film in Zlín in the Czech Republic. Psychological trauma, mental trauma or psychotrauma is an emotional response to a distressing event or series of events, such as accidents, rape, or natural disasters. Reactions such as psychological shock and psychological denial are typical.
