Metrópoli Patriotismo
Metrópoli Patriotismo is a shopping center at Av. Patriotismo 229, in the San Pedro de los Pinos neighborhood in Mexico City. It is anchored by a Cinemex multi-cinema, Sanborns, and a ONE hotel. The design was by Grupo Arquitech. The center opened in 2006 and represented an investment of 615 million pesos. In 2011 Grupo Empresarial Kaluz began an expansion which cost 750 million pesos and which brought the total area from to . Circuito Interior
The Circuito Interior Bicentenario ("Bicentennial Inner Loop") or more commonly, Circuito Interior or even more simply Circuito, is a 42-km-long (26 mi) urban freeway (in parts) and at-grade boulevard (in others), forming a loop around the central neighborhoods of Mexico City. It was built starting in 1961. The Circuito Interior received the appellation ''Bicentenario'' (Bicentennial) after a renovation that took place in 2010, Mexico's bicentennial year. San Pedro de los Pinos is a neighborhood located in center-west of Mexico City. Before being urbanized during the first half of the 20th century, the colonia was part of a vast farming area belonging to several ranches and haciendas. Cinemex is a Mexican chain of cinemas. It operates multiplexes in cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toluca, Cd. Juarez, Leon, Tijuana, Mexicali, Puebla and other Mexican cities. In 2015, Cinemex began to expand into the United States under the banner CMX. Escandón
Escandón is one of the Colonia (Mexico), colonias of Mexico City that were founded at the beginning of the 19th century on crop terrains that were formerly part of Hacienda de la Condesa, belonging to Condesa de Miravalle. This colony formed part of the Hacienda de la Condesa, being property of the family Escandón, who fractionated the terrains situated south of this. In 1841 it was sold to Antonio Batres and then sold to Estanislao and Joaquín Flores. The Flores brothers sold the hacienda to Manuel Escandón's notary in 1869. When the Escandón family acquired the property it got fragmented in 1880, 1890 and 1891 to be put for sale in Land lot, lots.
