Warner Music Sweden AB (previously Metronome Records) is a Swedish record company and label, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. Metronome Records was established in 1949 by Anders Burman, Lars Burman, and Börje Ekberg and was based in Stockholm. It concentrated on pop and jazz and had operations in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. The label signed Alice Babs, Bent Fabric, Sonya Hedenbratt, Nina & Frederik, Ola Magnell, Charlie Norman, Pugh Rogefeldt, Kalle Sändare, Bernt Staf, Owe Thörnqvist, and Cornelis Vreeswijk During 1949–65, Metronome's jazz catalogue also included Arne Domnérus, Rolf Ericson, Lars Gullin, Bengt Hallberg, Zoot Sims, and Toots Thielemans. Arne Domnérus
Sven Arne Domnérus (20 December 1924 – 2 September 2008) was a Swedish jazz saxophonist and clarinetist. Career He began to play the clarinet at the age of 11 but had taken up the saxophone by the time he left school and then turned professional. In 1949 he performed at the Paris Jazz Festival and with Charlie Parker when Parker was on tour in Sweden in 1950. A few years later he recorded with Clifford Brown, Art Farmer, and James Moody. From the middle 1950s to the middle 1960s he was a featured soloist in the Swedish Radio Big Band. He wrote for film and television and recorded with Lars Gullin and Bengt Hallberg. With Bengt-Arne Wallin, Rolf Ericson, and Åke Persson (the latter two were former members of Duke Ellington's Orchestra), he participated in the Jazz Workshops organised for the Ruhrfest in Recklinghausen by Hans Gertberg from the Hamburg radio station. Alter Bridge
Alter Bridge is an American rock band from Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2004 by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Myles Kennedy, lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. After their former band Creed became inactive in 2003, Tremonti and Phillips formed a new band with former bandmate Marshall and new member Kennedy; Alter Bridge was formally unveiled in January 2004, months before Creed's official breakup in June. After signing with Wind-up Records, Alter Bridge released their debut album ''One Day Remains'' in August 2004, much of which was written by Tremonti the previous year. Alina Natalie Devecerski (born 27 March 1983) is a Swedish pop singer from Sundbyberg. She is managed by Anders Johansson and signed to EMI Sweden. At age 19, she started singing in a girl band. Jean-Baptiste Frédéric Isidor, Baron Thielemans (29 April 1922 – 22 August 2016), known professionally as Toots Thielemans, was a Belgian jazz musician. He was mostly known for his chromatic harmonica playing, as well as his guitar and whistling skills, and composing. John Haley "Zoot" Sims (October 29, 1925 – March 23, 1985) was an American jazz saxophonist, playing mainly tenor but also alto (and, later, soprano) saxophone. He first gained attention in the "Four Brothers" sax section of Woody Herman's big band, afterward enjoying a long solo career, often in partnership with fellow saxmen Gerry Mulligan and Al Cohn.
