Metron (character)
Metron is a fictional antihero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Publication history Metron first appeared in ''New Gods'' #1 (February–March 1971) and was created by Jack Kirby for his '' Fourth World'' series. He was based on Leonard Nimoy's portrayal of the ''Star Trek'' character Spock and designed as a character who "would frequently change sides (between New Genesis and Apokolips)".Ro, Ronin. ''Star Trek'' is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry that follows the adventures of the starship and its crew. It later acquired the retronym of ''Star Trek: The Original Series'' (''TOS'') to distinguish the show within the media franchise that it began. The show is set in the Milky Way galaxy, circa 2266–2269. The ship and crew are led by Captain James T.
