Metro Breez
The Metro Breez (stylized METRO BREEZ) is an Public transport bus service, express bus service in Southern Maine, United States, provided by Greater Portland Metro. It runs thirteen times on weekdays and six times on Saturdays between Portland, Maine, Portland, the state's largest city, and Brunswick, Maine, Brunswick, around to the northeast, with stops in Yarmouth, Maine, Yarmouth and Freeport, Maine, Freeport. The service was established in 2016, after a successful Pilot experiment, pilot project, via an Act of the 129th Maine Legislature. Its long-term potential was to reduce congestion on Interstate 295 (Maine), Interstate 295, on which the service runs for part of its route. The route initially ran between Portland and Freeport, but was expanded to Brunswick in 2017. Falmouth was removed from the route around the same time; this route was already served by the route 7 ''Falmouth Flyer''. Each bus offers free Wi-Fi. The Greater Portland METRO is a regional Public Transportation, public transportation system, established in 1966, in Southern Maine. The ''Downeaster'' is a passenger train service operated by Amtrak and managed by the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority (NNEPRA), an agency of the state of Maine. Named for the Down East region of Maine, the train operates five daily round trips between North Station in Boston, Massachusetts, and Brunswick, Maine, with 10 intermediate stops. Tukey's Bridge
Tukey's Bridge is a bridge connecting the neighborhoods of Munjoy Hill and East Deering in Portland, Maine. It is part of Interstate 295, U.S. Route 1, and State Route 26. Munjoy Hill
Munjoy Hill is a neighborhood and prominent geographical feature of Portland, Maine. It is located east of downtown and south of East Deering, the neighborhood it is connected to by Tukey's Bridge. The neighborhood historically had a large Irish and Italian American population. Geography At the northeastern end of Portland's peninsula, Munjoy Hill overlooks the downtown and harbor to the south, Casco Bay and its islands to the east and north, and shallow Back Cove to the west. Congress Square Park is a small public park in the Arts District of Portland, Maine. The park includes a stage for performances and areas for sitting. It is also home to a large, historic clock which had previously been located at Union Station. Congress Street is the main street in Portland, Maine. Congress stretches from Portland's southwestern border with Westbrook through a number of neighborhoods before ending overlooking the Eastern Promenade on Munjoy Hill.
