Fishing
Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Fish are often caught as wildlife from the natural environment, but may also be caught from stocked bodies of water such as ponds, canals, park wetlands and reservoirs. Fishing techniques include hand-gathering, spearing, netting, angling, shooting and trapping, as well as more destructive and often illegal techniques such as electrocution, blasting and poisoning. Little Cedar Lake
Little Cedar Lake (or Petit lac des Cèdres) is a 2.5 mile-long lake located in Messines, Quebec, 90 minutes from Ottawa. Recreational activities include swimming, fishing and watersports. It is a very shallow and sandy area in parts, but is 120 feet deep in spots with crystal clean water, with lake trout sitting around 80 feet in the summer. There is also bass and pike fishing. Blue Sea Lake
Blue Sea Lake (in French: ''Lac Blue Sea'') is a lake in the municipalities of Blue Sea and Messines, Quebec, Canada, about north of Gatineau. It is known for its crystal clear water and is surrounded by cottages on its shores. The blue waters of Blue Sea Lake, together with its dimensions and the absence of significant relief around, create the illusion of a sea. It feeds the Blue Sea River which empties into the Picanoc River, in turn a tributary of the Gatineau River. Its name first appeared on a map of Hull County in 1928. Just over to the west, in Cayamant, is another, somewhat smaller lake called ''Lac de la Mer Bleue'', which also means "Blue Sea Lake". To distinguish between these two lakes, the English name is used for the larger one, even in French. Mesen (; french: Messines, , historically used in English) is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. On January 1, 2006, Mesen had a total population of 988. The total area is 3.58 km2 which gives a population density of 276 inhabitants per km2. The municipality comprises only one main settlement, the town of Mesen proper. Bouchette is a municipality in the geographic centre of the La Vallée-de-la-Gatineau Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada, north of Gatineau. Its territory is along the shores of Gatineau River and western Thirty-One Mile Lake. Agriculture is an important economic activity, along with outdoor tourism. It has less than 700 residents but approximately 1075 cottage owners. Maniwaki is a town located north of Gatineau and north-west of Montreal, in the province of Quebec, Canada. The town is situated on the Gatineau River, at the crossroads of Quebec Route 105, Route 105 and Quebec Route 107, Route 107, not far south of Quebec Route 117, Route 117 (Trans-Canada Highway).
