Ashley Messier
Ashley Anne Messier is a Canadian ice hockey defender, currently playing for Cornell University in the NCAA. Career From 2016 to 2019, she played for the Saskatoon Stars in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League, winning the SFMAAAHL championship twice and being named the league's best defender in 2019. She was named top defender at the 2018 and 2019 Esso Cups. She then spent the 2019-20 season at Bishop Kearney High School (Irondequoit, New York), Bishop Kearney High School in the United States, winning a state U19 title with the school's Selects Hockey Academy. Messier (crater)
Messier is a relatively young lunar impact crater located on the Mare Fecunditatis. The crater has a discernible oblong shape that is not caused by foreshortening. The longer dimension is oriented in an east–west direction. Just to the west lies Messier A, a similar-sized crater with an oblong, doublet form. The longer dimension of this crater is oriented north–south, at right angles to Messier. This crater also has a curved bulge extending to the west. Messier Objects
The Messier objects are a set of 110 astronomical objects catalogued by the French astronomer Charles Messier in his ' (''Catalogue of Nebulae and Star Clusters''). Because Messier was interested only in finding comets, he created a list of those non-comet objects that frustrated his hunt for them. This list, which Messier created in collaboration with his assistant Pierre Méchain, is now known as the ''Messier catalogue''. The Messier catalogue is one of the most famous lists of astronomical objects, and many objects on the list are still referenced by their Messier numbers. The catalogue includes most of the astronomical deep-sky objects that can be easily observed from Earth's Northern Hemisphere; many Messier objects are popular targets for amateur astronomers. Messier Channel
Messier Channel is a channel (geography), channel located in western Patagonia, Chile. It trends north–south between Wellington Island and other Pacific islands and the continent. Maritime traffic traveling south from the Gulf of Penas passes between Wager Island to the west and the Larenas Peninsula to the east to enter the Messier Channel. There is a List of lighthouses in Chile: NGA2044–NGA2324, lighthouse (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, NGA 2044) on Islote San Pedro, which is just to the east of Wager Island. Continuing further south, ships pass by Prat Island, Serrano Island, and Wellington Island. Southward the name of this inside passage changes first to ''Angostura Inglesa'' (English Narrows) and then to ' (Indian Passage). Paul Edmond Messier (born 27 January 1958) is a British-born Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He is the older brother of the NHL player Mark Messier. Mark John Douglas Messier (; born January 18, 1961) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward. His playing career in the National Hockey League (NHL) lasted 25 seasons (1979–80 NHL season, 1979–2003–04 NHL season, 2004) with the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and Vancouver Canucks. He also played professionally with the World Hockey Association (WHA)'s Indianapolis Racers and Cincinnati Stingers.
