Messehallen (Hamburg U-Bahn Station)
Messehallen is a metro station located at Messe and Congress Center Hamburg on the border of the two Hamburg districts St. Pauli and Neustadt. The station was opened in 1970, and is served by Hamburg U-Bahn line U2. Layout Messehallen is Germany's deepest underground station at below ground. Entrances above ground are located at Karolinenstraße and Sievekingplatz, leading to spacious intermediate levels. The two side platforms are placed back-to-back in a diameter railway pipe each, with access at either ends and intermediate connectors at a couple of locations, effectively making them one island platform. Messehalle Sindelfingen
Messe Sindelfingen, formerly known as Messehalle Sindelfingen, is a fair and convention center located in Sindelfingen, Germany, which was founded in 1973. Is has one large hall with a 3,000-capacity and area of 8000 m² in total for exhibitions. During the 1970s and 1980s it hosted concerts by many famous artists such as The Who, Deep Purple, Van Halen, Kiss (band), Kiss and Whitesnake. Today the facility is mainly used for fairs and trade shows. During the covid-19 pandemic it was used as vaccination centre for Böblingen (district), Landkreis Böblingen. Messe Sindelfingen got a large competitor in recent years, Stuttgart Trade Fair, Messe Stuttgart, which is the 9th largest fair in Germany and only 15 km away at the Stuttgart Airport, airport in Stuttgart. Mess Hall
The mess (also called a mess deck aboard ships) is a designated area where military personnel socialize, eat and (in some cases) live. The term is also used to indicate the groups of military personnel who belong to separate messes, such as the officers' mess, the chief petty officer mess, and the enlisted mess. In some civilian societies this military usage has been extended to the eating arrangements of other disciplined services such as fire fighting and police forces.
