Messe Freiburg
Messe Freiburg (literally "Freiburg Trade Fair") is an event area and exhibition grounds in Freiburg im Breisgau. History Markets are undividedly connected to the history of the City of Freiburg. In the year 1120, the establishment of the city tumbled with the market rights. Conrad I, Duke of Zähringen shows all in all that the first fair was allowed to take place because of King Wenzel of Prague in 1379. Subsequently, Freiburg was on the International Commercial Centre on many occasions during this year. The Münsterplatz, and also the Stühlinger Kirchplatz, used for leisure activities, were very important centres. Between 1885 and 1914, at least six "people shows" (human zoo) ethnological expositions took place because of the spring and autumn fairs in Freiburg, which were dedicated to people from Africa and Sri Lanka (previously named as Ceylon). Rothaus
is a brewery owned by the States of Germany, German state of Baden-Württemberg. Rothaus, at the northern edge of the village of Grafenhausen in the southern Black Forest, is one of Germany's most successful and profitable regional breweries. History Rothaus received its name from the patrician family "Roth", which originated from the region of Klettgau and settled down in Grafenhausen around 1300 AD. Freiburg Bächle
The Freiburg Bächle are small water-filled runnels or formalised rills in the Black Forest city of Freiburg. They are supplied with water by the Dreisam and can be seen along most streets and alleyways in the old city, being one of the city's most famous landmarks. The word ''Bächle'' comes from the German ''Bach'', meaning brook, with the Alemannic diminutive ending ''-le''. History First documented in the 13th century, the Bächle once served as a water supply and were used to help fight fires. In the 19th century they were seen as obsolete, and most of them were covered with iron plates. The Bächle were seen by many (among them the ADAC) as a traffic hazard due to their original location in the middle of the road, and as a consequence they were moved to the edge of the roads in 1852. Breisgau-S-Bahn
Breisgau-S-Bahn GmbH (''BSB'') was a regional railway operator in the Germany, German state of Baden-Württemberg. It was a subsidiary of Südwestdeutsche Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft (SWEG), a transport company owned by the state of Baden-Württemberg. The company was founded in 1995. The company operated S-Bahn services over DB Netz, DB Netz AG-owned tracks in the area around Freiburg. The services ran on short sections of the main line Rhine Valley Railway, together with the ''Elztalbahn'' and ''Breisachbahn'' branch lines. The company was merged into its parent in December 2017. Artistic roller skating is a sport similar to figure skating but where competitors wear roller skates instead of ice skates. Within artistic roller skating, there are several disciplines: * Figures: the individual follows the figure circle line on a specific edge. Musikantenstadl is a live television entertainment program broadcast in the German language throughout Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. It features Austrian, Swiss, and German popular folk music ( Schlager, Volkstümliche Musik), international pop and folk music as well as interviews and comedy. As a production of Eurovision, is co-produced by the Österreichischer Rundfunk, Bayerischer Rundfunk and Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen. Herbert Arthur Wiglev Clamor Grönemeyer (born 12 April 1956) is a German singer, musician, producer, composer and actor, popular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
