Bahar Mert Üçoklar (born 13 December 1975 in Kardzhali, Bulgaria) is a retired Turkish volleyball player. She is 180 cm and plays as setter. She plays for Türk Telekom Ankara. She has been on the team since 2007 and wears the number 1. She is the team's captain. She was a member of the Women's National Team that won the silver medal at the 2003 European Championship in Ankara. She participated at the 2006 FIVB Women's World Championship. Mesut Mert (born 18 March 1978) is a Bulgarian-born Canadian football coach and former player who serves as an assistant coach for HFX Wanderers and as head coach of the Saint Mary's University men's soccer team. Playing career Mert made his USL debut with the Calgary Mustangs but joined Montreal for the 2005 season after Calgary folded. Coaching career Mert was named Technical Director of Scotia SC on 22 September 2007. Metehan Mert (born 1 May 1999) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Turkish club Konyaspor. Career Mert is a youth product of the academies of Ankarakartalspor, and Gençlerbirliği. Mert signed his first professional contract with Gençlerbirliği in December 2018, and made his first senior appearance in a 2–1 Turkish Cup win over Hatayspor on 4 December 2018. Nuray Mert, (born 1960 in Trabzon, Turkey) is a Turkish columnist and political scientist. She is a columnist for Hürriyet Daily News. Mert is also a Bilderberg participant.
