Merkavim
Merkavim Transportation Technologies Ltd., shortened to Merkavim (), is the largest bus manufacturing company in Israel. They produce many different types of buses, including tourism coaches, urban buses, long-distance buses and minibuses. In addition to this, they also provide specialist buses, such as bullet-proof buses, prisoner-transport vehicles and VIP transport vehicles. The company was founded in 1946 and is jointly owned by Israeli vehicle-importer Mayer Cars and Trucks and by AB Volvo. Volvo B7L
The Volvo B7L is a fully low floor single-decker bus, double-decker bus and articulated bus chassis with a rear engine mounted vertically on the left of the rear overhang. It was built as a replacement for the Volvo B10L, and the Volvo Olympian, used as both a single-decker bus and a double-decker bus chassis largely in Continental Europe. The Volvo B7L was superseded by the Volvo B9L in 2006. Design Whilst similar to the B10L in design, both featuring a side-mounted engine, the B7L's engine was a Volvo D7C unit mounted vertically, as opposed to the horizontally mounted Volvo DH10/GH10 engine of the B10L; the radiator was mounted above the engine instead of the right-hand side, allowing the floor to be lower behind the rear axle. Metropolin () are an Israeli synth-pop band. The band was assembled in 2005 by Ofer Meiri, an Israeli musician and music producer. He gathered several renowned Israeli musicians including Dana Berger. Efrat Gosh, although not officially a member, is the main singer on several popular tracks, and frequently plays live with the band. Israeli settlements, also called Israeli colonies, are the civilian communities built by Israel throughout the Israeli-occupied territories.
