Mercedes-Benz Mexico
Mercedes-Benz Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. is a subsidiary of the Mercedes-Benz Group, headquartered in Mexico City. History Mercedes-Benz Mexico started from the company FAMSA (Fábrica Automotriz Mexicana S.A.) in 1990 with the same people and facilities. Before that, FAMSA had a joint venture with the Mexican company Hermes-Group, where Mercedes-Benz AG had 20%. Hermes-Group have some other automotive parts manufacturing operations in Mexico. FAMSA was assembling trucks with International engines and QSP American Cabins at that time. The Monterrey facilities were born from a CAIO Brazilian bus manufacturing company who were working with the Mexican crises in 1995. Unimog
The Unimog (, ) is a range of multi-purpose tractors, trucks and lorries that has been produced by Boehringer from 1948 until 1951, and by Daimler Truck (formerly Daimler-Benz, DaimlerChrysler and Daimler AG) since 1951. In the United States and Canada, the Unimog was sold as the Freightliner Unimog. Unimog production started in 1948 at in Göppingen. Daimler-Benz took over manufacture of the Unimog in 1951, and first produced it in their Gaggenau plant. From 1951, the Unimog was sold under the Mercedes-Benz brand. Zetros
The Mercedes-Benz Zetros is an off-road truck for extreme operations. It was first presented at the 2008 Eurosatory defence industry trade show in Paris. The Zetros is manufactured at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth, Germany. The truck is designed to be compatible with the Hercules C-130 transport and also fits into a standard German railway carriage. In 2019 Mercedes-Benz presented a facelift of the Zetros with a more powerful engine a bigger number of variants. Mercedes-Benz G-Class
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, sometimes colloquially called the G-Wagen (as an abbreviation of Geländewagen) is a four-wheel drive automobile manufactured by Magna Steyr (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch) in Austria and sold by Mercedes-Benz. Originally developed as a military jeep, military off-roader, later more luxury car, luxurious models were added to the line. Dieter Zetsche (; born on 5 May 1953) is a German engineer and business executive. He is the chairman of TUI AG. He was the chairman of the board of management of Daimler AG and head of Mercedes-Benz until 22 May 2019, a role he had held since 2006, in addition to being a member of the company's board since 1998.
