Mai Mercado
Mai Mercado (born 20 August 1980 in Tønder) is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Conservative People's Party. She was elected at the 2011 Danish general election. From 2016 to 2019 she was the Minister for Children and Social Affairs in the Lars Løkke Rasmussen III Cabinet. Political career Mercado was a member of the municipal council of Odense Municipality from 2006 to 2011, and served as the second deputy mayor from 2009 to 2011. From 2013 to 2016 she sat in the municipal council of Frederiksberg Municipality. She was elected to the Folketing in the 2011 election. The three founding members are the Lima Stock Exchange, the Santiago Stock Exchange, and the Colombia Stock Exchange. Noel Kempff Mercado (February 27, 1924 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia – September 5, 1986 in the Serranía de Caparuch, Bolivia) was a Bolivian biologist and environmentalist. Kempff Mercado studied at the University of Santa Cruz where he received his B.Sc. in 1946. During a field campaign in the Huanchaca National Park in 1986 he and several other scientists discovered a cocaine factory in the Bolivian forest. Kempff Mercado and most of the scientists were killed by the criminals. Melinda Mercado (born March 19, 1990) is an American soccer defender currently playing for Boston Breakers in the National Women's Soccer League. Early life Raised in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Mercado attended Sapulpa High School, where she was a two-sport star on both the soccer and basketball teams. She was named Sapulpa High School's Athlete of the Year in 2007 and 2008.
