Menzi (food)
Menzi () is a special snack popular in the regions of Jiaodong Peninsula, Liaodong Peninsula, Hebei, Henan and Tianjin in China. It is mainly distributed in the cities of Dalian, Yantai, Dandong, Tangshan, Dingzhou, Tianjin, and Qinhuangdao, among other places. The main ingredient is cold noodle made of tapioca starch, accompanied by sesame sauce. Origins There are various sayings about the origin of Menzi; the following is one of them. More than a hundred years ago, two brothers of the Men's family went to Yantai to dry vermicelli. Once they had just finished making the vermicelli, when there was a cloudy day, it could not be dried and was going to be sour. In an emergency, the brothers invited the villagers to fry the vermicelli in oil and eat it with garlic. After eating, the people said in unison that it was delicious and flavorful. Menzi Ngubane
Menzi Ngubane (28 August 1964 – 13 March 2021) was a South African actor, best known for playing the role of Sibusiso Dlomo in the soap opera '' Generations'' from 2003 to 2014. Ngubane played numerous roles on other South African TV shows, including ''Yizo Yizo'', ''Ashes to Ashes'', ''Gold Diggers'', and ''Heist''. Menzi Simelane is a South African advocate. He was appointed by Jacob Zuma as director of the South African National Prosecuting Authority in December 2009. His predecessor was Vusi Pikoli. Biography Simelane was born in 1970. He studied at the University of Natal and became an advocate of the High Court in 1996. He was appointed commissioner of the Competition Commission in 1999.
