Mensa Bonsu ( – ) was the tenth king of the Ashanti Empire, from 1874 until his forced abdication on 8 March 1883. Biography Accession to the Asante throne Mensa Bonsu was the son of Afua Kobi. He became Asantehene (king of the Asante) after his elder brother Kofi Kakari was deposed in September 1874. Mensa Otabil (born August 31, 1959), is a Ghanaian theologian, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of International Central Gospel Church headquartered in Accra, Ghana. He is also the founder and Chancellor of Central University College, and CEO of Otabil and Associates, an executive and Leadership Growth Consultancy. He currently oversees the International Central Gospel churches, which has a network of local assemblies in Ghana, Europe, the United States, Canada and other parts of Africa. He also serves as the senior pastor of Christ Temple, a ministry of the International Central Gospel Church. His work has centered on African issues, although he has spoken internationally at various conferences and churches. Josep Pascó I Mensa
Josep Pascó i Mensa () (1855–1910), was a painter, illustrator and designer from Catalonia, an autonomous community of Spain, mostly noted for book illustrations and theater set design. He was born in Sant Feliu de Llobregat in 1855 and died in Barcelona in 1910. He trained as a painter at the ''Escola de la Llotja'' with Simó Gómez and at the workshop of designer Josep Planella. He began his career as a mural painter but then switched to canvas, mostly landscapes. One of his most original paintings is that of the flag of the Cau Ferrat in Sitges. His most distinguished work is in the illustration of books and the design of decorative objects, as well as the design of theater sets, starting early with those for small amateur theater companies. In 1887, he went to Madrid, where he worked at the Royal Theater and was then commissioned to decorate the Principe Alfonso Theater stage.
