''Men in Pain'' (Traditional Chinese: 男人之苦) is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in June 2006. Synopsis Hong Tin-Yam (Damian Lau) is happily married to his second wife Wong Dak-Kiu (Louisa So), but one day he discovers that he cannot perform in the bedroom. He asked a female friend, Au Yeung Lei-Lei (Akina Hong), to help him out and confirmed that he was in fact impotent. Tin-Yam did not want his wife to find out about his problem causes Dak-Kiu to think that he is cheating on her, and leading to their divorce. Damian Lau
Damian Lau Chung-yan (born 14 October 1949) is a Hong Kong film and television actor, executive producer and film director. Lau has starred in many television drama series of various genres, produced by Hong Kong's TVB and ATV. Biography Early career Lau enrolled into the actors' training class of RTV (now ATV) in 1971, where he started his early acting career. In 1976, he joined TVB on a contract and began to gain recognition for acting in television drama series produced by the TV station. In 1976, Lau rose to fame for his portrayal of the titular character in '' Luk Siu-fung'', an adaptation of ''Wuxia'' writer Gu Long's novel series of the same title. His performance in ''Yesterday's Glitter'' also made him famous. Partnership with Michelle Yim Lau returned to ATV in 1980. Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong SAR. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. TVB is headquartered at TVB City at the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. TVB commenced broadcasting on November 19, 1967. The Company was incorporated on July 26, 1965 and was co-founded by Sir Run Run Shaw, who was Chairman from 1980 to 2011, together with Sir Douglas Clague and Harold Lee Hsiao-wo of the Lee Hysan family. Law Lok-lam (, born 20 October 1948) is a veteran Hong Kong character actor currently under Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) management. A versatile actor who has acted in many Hong Kong television dramas since the 1970s. He has been in so many dramas that he became internationally known as "the actor that died 5 times in one day or 24 hours" when five dramas he starred in were broadcast on the same day showing him in dying scenes.
