Andrés García
Andrés García García (24 May 1941 – 4 April 2023) was a Dominican-born Mexican actor. He served as a scuba diving instructor in Acapulco. At the time of his death, he was one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Career García was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Spanish parents and later relocated to Mexico. He was the son of Spanish exiles from the Spanish Civil War who received refuge in the country during the regime of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo. His father was a Spanish Republican combat aviator named Andrés García La Calle. García emigrated to Mexico, where he obtained Mexican nationality and pursued a career in show business. Maria de Amparo Muñoz y Quesada (21 June 1954 – 27 February 2011) was a Spanish actress, model and beauty queen who won the Miss Universe 1974 competition in Manila, Philippines, being the first and only Spaniard Miss Universe titleholder to date. Muñoz surrendered both the title and crown after six months due to refusal to follow the rules and regulations of the Miss Universe Organization. During that time, no successor was willing nor assigned to officially take her vacated placement. She was a star of the horror genre during the 1960's and '70s, and gained the reputation of a scream queen. Early life Liné was born Helga Lina Stern on 14 July 1932 in Berlin, into a circus family. When she was still very young, her family emigrated to Portugal to escape the Nazi regime. She began her performing arts career at the age of 8 in her family's circus acts, as an acrobat and contortionist.
