Melvin Vissers
Melvin Vissers (born 11 February 1996) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career On 30 March 2012, Vissers signed a three-year contract with Ajax, tying him down to the club until 30 June 2015. He made his debut for Jong Ajax as a 61st-minute substitute for Davy Klaassen in an Eerste Divisie match against Achilles '29 on 8 September 2013. In the Summer of 2015, Vissers returned to Sparta Rotterdam having won the Dutch under-19 league title twice with Ajax A1, having made two appearances in the Eerste Divisie for the reserves team Jong Ajax as well. AFC Ajax Youth Academy
The Ajax Youth Academy (Dutch: ''Ajax Jeugdopleiding'') is a football youth academy based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from where the organization manages a total of 13 youth teams (ages 7–18). The academy is the primary youth clinic of Dutch football team Ajax Amsterdam. The club depends heavily on the youth academy as they move promising youngsters from the youth teams to the senior team where they can showcase their talent and develop into stars. On 11 September 2020, the CIES released their annual rankings of the clubs having trained the most players active in 31 top divisions of UEFA member associations. 2013–14 Jong Ajax Season
During the 2013–14 season Jong Ajax will participate in the Dutch Eerste Divisie, the 2nd tier of professional football in the Netherlands. The 2013–14 AFC Ajax season marks the Jupiler League debut of the AFC Ajax reserves' squad Jong Ajax. Previously playing in the Beloften Eredivisie (a separate league for reserve teams, not included in the Dutch professional or amateur league structure) players were allowed to move around freely between the reserve team and the first team during the course of the season. This will no longer be the case as Jong Ajax will register and field a separate squad from that of Ajax first team whose home matches will be played at Sportpark De Toekomst while playing in the Eerste Divisie, except for the occasional match in the Amsterdam Arena. The only period in which players will be able to move between squads will be during the transfer windows. Furthermore, the team is not eligible for promotion to the Eredivisie. Achilles '29 is a football club from Groesbeek, Netherlands, competing in the sixth-tier Eerste Klasse. The club is known for its successes in the Dutch domestic cup, having knocked FC Volendam, Heracles Almelo, RKC Waalwijk, Telstar and MVV Maastricht out of the KNVB Cup. History Achilles '29 became Hoofdklasse champions for the first time in 1983 in the Hoofdklasse Sunday B. In 2006, Achilles became champions in the Hoofdklasse Sunday C, with a two-point lead over rival De Treffers. Two seasons later a comparable Hoofdklasse victory was achieved when Achilles '29 played De Treffers in the last match of the season.
