Meltdown (Vinnie Moore Album)
''Meltdown'' is the third studio album by the American guitarist Vinnie Moore, released in 1991 through Relativity Records. Moore wanted to use a singer on the album but could not find a suitable one. He supported the album with a North American tour. Critical reception ''The Washington Post'' wrote that "this is fast and furious, finger-flying stuff for the most part, a power trio album devoted to torrid instrumental flights and designed to compete with the likes of Steve Vai." The ''Chicago Tribune'' concluded that "Moore's production is intense—much better than that of labelmate Steve Vai—with crisp snares, wicked-yet-smooth guitar squeals and steady low end." Vinnie Moore
Vincent Moore (born April 14, 1964) is an American guitarist and a member of the British hard rock band UFO. Biography Moore was born in New Castle, Delaware. He began his professional career at age 12 after receiving a guitar as a Christmas present. During a 2018 interview, Moore stated, "I got my first guitar for Christmas when I was like 12, basically just because I saw a picture of a guitar in a catalog, a JCPenney's catalog. I thought, 'Hey that looks pretty cool. I want that.' That was my motivation at the time, and I got it for Christmas, and really didn't bother with it a whole lot. Then, I started taking lessons for the next year. Then I really started to get obsessed with it." Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). In recent years digital masters have become usual, although analog masters—such as audio tapes—are still being used by the manufacturing industry, particularly by a few engineers who specialize in analog mastering. Mastering requires critical listening; however, software tools exist to facilitate the process. Robert C. Ludwig (born c. 1945) is an American mastering engineer. He has mastered recordings on all the major recording formats for all the major record labels, and on projects by more than 1,300 artists including Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Bryan Ferry, Paul McCartney, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen and Daft Punk resulting in over 3,000 credits. Joe "Seven" Franco (born 1951) is an American drummer best known for his work with the band The Good Rats in the late 1970s and later as a replacement member of Twisted Sister. Biography Joe Franco, a 1969 graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School, became a member of the band The Good Rats in 1972. He also produced and played in the horror rock band Van Helsing's Curse, which also featured Twisted Sister lead vocalist Dee Snider, and on the Magellan album ''Hundred Year Flood''. Millbrook is a village in Dutchess County, New York, United States. Millbrook is located in the Hudson Valley, on the east side of the Hudson River, north of New York City.
