In comics, a one-shot is a work composed of a single standalone issue or chapter, contrasting a limited series or ongoing series, which are composed of multiple issues or chapters.Albert, Aaron"One Shot Definition" About Entertainment. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mineo Maya. The comedy manga was serialized in ''Hana to Yume'' from 1978 to 1990, before switching to ''Bessatsu Hana to Yume'' from 1991 where it continues to be published. An anime adaptation, , produced by Toei Animation, originally aired from April 8, 1982 to May 13, 1983 on Fuji TV, and was the first to present '' shōnen-ai'' themes on television. As of 2006, the manga had 22 million copies in circulation. Yasuko Aoike
is a female Japanese manga artist. Most of her works are ''shōjo'' manga, predominantly focused on romance, adventure, and light comedy, and many of them contain elements of shōnen-ai. She is included in Year 24 group. Aoike grew up as the youngest child in a large family (including five sisters and a brother) that owned a construction company, so in her childhood she was surrounded by the strong men employed by the company. Her father, an amateur artist who had studied ink wash painting under a master of the Southern School style, was a great influence on Aoike. Aoike made her professional debut at the age of 15 in ''Ribon'' magazine's 1963 Winter Special Edition with the short story ''Sayonara Nanette''. Her short works appeared in Shōjo Friend and other Kodansha publications through the mid-1970s. Keiko Takemiya
is a Japanese manga artist and the former president of Kyoto Seika University. Career Keiko Takemiya (or Takemiya Keiko) is included in the Year 24 Group, a term coined by academics and critics to refer to a group of female authors in the early 1970s who helped transform manga (manga for girls) from being created primarily by male authors to being created by female authors. As part of this group, Takemiya pioneered a genre of manga about love between young men called ( "boy love"). In 1970, she published a short story titled '' Sanrūmu Nite'' ("In the Sunroom") in ''Bessatsu Shōjo Comic'', which is possibly the first manga ever published and contains the earliest known male–male kiss in manga. is a Japanese science fiction and adventure writer. His works have sold more than 20 million copies in Japan spread across more than 280 titles. He is published in a variety of formats including feature films, television shows, movies and comic books. Reiko Okano
is a Japanese manga artist. Okano attended a graphic design school after graduating from high school and has never worked as a manga assistant.
